Deutschland – Part II

Today was my last full day in Germany. I made my sister take me to the flea markets in Nuremberg to do some thrifting – the only bad part was leaving behind a lot of great furniture. I can only fit so much into my carry-ons!

Here is a look at my treasure- all of which cost less than $14.
Not bad, eh?
We also made a trip Volksfest.
We spent yesterday in downtown Ansbach. We walked around the farmers market.
We saw gorgeous cathedrals.
We may have eaten a pastry or two.
We visited a palace.

And saw amazing gardens at Orangerie.

The first couple of days were spent seeing castles…

and Rothenberg:

It’s been a long week and was great to see my sister, but tomorrow I’m headed to Scotland. Next week is strictly vacation as I hike through the rolling hills and mountains.
